The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform plastic vacuum forming by positioning the positive model, conducting vacuum system checking, carrying out drape forming, and cutting excess material so that the orthotic plastic form is properly shaped and conformed according to the work order and Standard Operating Procedures. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: 1. Position Positive Model 2. Conduct Vacuum System Checking 3. Carry Out Drape Forming 4. Carry Out Excess Material Cutting
